Bevy the girl band debuted at Rippers in the Rockaways on July 19th, and then rocked out again at the Gutter on July 26th!

Rehearsal has begun for Not Cool, a short film directed by Mia Walker, written by Annika and co-starring Jarett Karlsberg.



THE KNICK
In November and December Annika worked several days on the upcoming Cinemax series The Knick, directed by Stephen Soderbergh and starring Clive Owen.

WRITING
New York is obscene and fascinating. Nightlife is a self-perpetuating cycle of exhaustion and exhiliration. Working in restaurants is almost as confusing as love, especially when the two intersect. Read about what it is to be In Quarter Life Crisis here.


BOARDWALK EMPIRE
In September episode one of the fourth season of HBO's Boardwalk Empire aired-- look for Annika as a Cicero prostitute. Something about "boobs and boozehounds."

EAGLE SCOUTS
Sunshine Scouts alums Annika, Ian Axness, Avital Isaacs, Tim Platt, and Dain Chatel banded together to form the Eagle Scouts, a long-form improv troupe. They competed in the Brick Theater's improv competition last Spring, making it all the way to the third round.

UPCOMING FEATURE
In May 2013 a stellar cast, directed by Mia Walker, gathered to read Annika's first feature film, a series of vignettes about how some of us just don't want to grow up. More to come as this project develops.

FRANKNESS
Beginning in April 2013, Frankness hosted the play-reading series Come Read A Play. Come Read A Play, or CRAP, is an informal night of reading pre-assigned parts in a pre-determined play, and also drinking tasty drinks and eating tasty vittles. INCIDENT
Last March Annika completed shooting for the short film Incident, directed by Austin Rhodes, written by Sean Kennerly, and co-starring Billy Bouchard.

STRANGE TIME
In January Annika performed her one-woman one-act, You Met Me at a Very Strange Time in My Life, at the Snowballs Theater Festival at Space on White in TriBeCa.

ELLE MACPHERSON
During fashion week Annika modelled Elle Macpherson's Intimates line during a live event for Fashion's Night Out.

THE ALLEY
Annika co-starred in this new one-act by playwright Mike DeVito, taking second place at the Bareknuckle Theater Festival in March.

THE PEOPLE V. BEETHOVEN
A new show from Frankness, Annika performed a ten minute preview of The People v. Beethoven as part of The Dark Night Festival at the 14th Street Y in February.

ONE CIGARETTE
Annika's One Cigarette PSA for the NYC Department of Health debuted  in late December regionally. The print component was featured as a full page in Time Out NY, as well as online.

HOW WILL WE CROSS THE SEAS
Filming for How Will We Cross the Seas, directed by Shaun Seniveratne, starring Annika alongside Jason Vance, completed filming in fall 2011. Here's a production still:
